VENTEON is hiring a 2nd Shift Mold Setter to provide support for a client in Auburn Hills, MI
POSITION TYPE: 90 Day Contract to Hire
PAY RATE: $19.00-$21.00 Per Hour Depending on Experience. Overtime at time and one half.
HOURS:2nd Shift 2:00 p.m. 10:30 p.m.
Requirement of the Mold Setter
Education and Experience:
One year certificate from college or technical school. or three to six months related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Three years of experience working as a Mold Setter
Previous experience working with plastic with an understanding of the injection molding and structural foam process
Experience driving a Hi-Lo
Experience operating an overhead crane.
The ability to lift to 50 pounds
This position often requires overtime and working on the weekend
Key Accountabilities
Perform setup of the injection molding machines, including dies, settings, chiller, Thermarator s, hot runners, material, and operate required fixtures.
Responsible for the cleanup of the work area after production and prototypes.
Adjust prototypes and production to meet quality, engineering, and customer requirements.
Perform miscellaneous duties and responsibilities as directed.
