2nd Shift Materials Analyst

Minimum 5 Years experience in Materials Analysis

Venteon is currently seeking an experienced Materials Analysis to fill a 2nd Shift opening with a manufacturing company located in Normal, IL. The ideal candidates should have hands-on experience in a fast paced manufacturing environment. 

 

Requirements of the Materials Analyst

  • Bachelors Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or similar field preferred

  • 1-2 years of experience in inventory management along with a related degree. If no degree, additional equivalent of 3-5 years materials experience within Manufacturing, Automotive Strongly Preferred.

  • Experience with Materials flow, analysis, or coordination inside Manufacturing operations. Tier 1 JIT experience a plus.

  • Knowledgeable with Microsoft Application including Excel

  • Experienced with ERP systems (QAD preferred), and WMS

Responsibilities of the Materials Analyst

  • Material Analyst Maintains ERP system for all Material functional areas such as Item Master, BOM, ship to locations, and inventory parameters

  • Creates daily production schedules and ensures production output is recorded and posted into the ERP system

  • Communicates No Surprise Forms to customers when supply shortages occur.

  • Reviews daily MRP supply reports and takes action as necessary

  • Identifies Customer cum inaccuracies and supplier inaccuracies as needed

  • Tracks component inventory inaccuracies for root cause identification and corrective action(s).  Responsible for ensuring the issue(s) are corrected

  • Responsible for performing daily cycle counts and reconciliation of inventory variances

  • Tracks and submits Premium Freight events and downtime caused by supplier

  • Responsible for creating debit memos for cost recovery

  • Responsible for communicating DMR s to assigned suppliers

  • Responsible for obtaining the disposition of Quality Hold materials
