2ND SHIFT MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR - LORAIN, OHIO
RESPONSIBILITIES:
This Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for activities of workers in all phases of the plant operation.
Manage the paint line shift operation.
Ensure effective employee relations.
Coordinate production activities with maintenance and quality to obtain optimum production and utilization of human resources, machines, and equipment.
Work with human resources to maintain corporate policies and manage overall headcount according to the budget and sales.
Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization s policies and applicable laws.
These responsibilities include training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; performance appraisals; rewarding and discipline; addressing complaints; and resolving problems.
Revise production schedules and priorities because of equipment failure or operating problems.
Consult with engineering relative to modifications of machines and equipment to improve production and quality of products, or when developing new lines for a new product.
Troubleshooting of processes and equipment.
Provide support to all operations through the application of Lean Manufacturing / Kaizen Principles.
Manages special projects as requested by the General Manager.
Frequent communication with all levels of Management, Corporate Support Groups, Quality Assurance, and Plant Personnel.
Bachelor s Degree in Engineering or Manufacturing Management, a related Technical Field, or equivalent Education & Experience.
Ability to Troubleshoot various Equipment, Presses & Machinery
Metal Stamping & Welding / Assembly Expertise
Hydraulic & Pneumatic Knowledge is a Must
Knowledge of IATF16949
Knowledge of Safety Requirements
