Minimum 3 Years experience as a Process Technician

Venteon is currently seeking an experienced Process Technician to fill an opening with a manufacturing company located in Sterling Heights, MI

Requirements of the Process Technician

• Mechanically inclined Machine and process troubleshooting Effective communication skills, verbal, and written. Basic Computer Skills Demonstrated leadership experience or aptitude Flexibility to cover other shifts

  2 years minimum of Supervisory experience 2 years minimum of Injection Molding experience 5 years minimum of Mechanical experience 10 years minimum of Manufacturing experience 2 years minimum of Robot experience

Responsibilities of the Process Technician

• Mold start-up/processing/troubleshooting
• Start-up machine and robots to prepare for daily production.
• In conjunction with the Molding Manager, the Production Manager, Engineering, Quality and Maintenance; participate in the analysis and problem-solving production, quality problems and technical problems.
• Advise the Molding Manager of all production or equipment problems.
• Routine maintenance
• Use hand and pneumatic tools to make small adjustments and repairs.
• Assist with minor maintenance on shift as trained: Hoses, fittings, vacuum, thermolators
• Mold changing and setting
• Install and set up mold as per work instructions
• Supervision
• Manage production personnel, resolving concerns, reviewing performance, and maintaining morale, discipline and employee training in accordance with the Company and ISO9001:2015 and IATF 16949 procedures.
