2ND & 3RD SHIFT MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN'S NEEDED - FT. WAYNE, INDIANA
A Leading Automotive Supplier in the Ft. Wayne, Indiana area is in need of 2nd & 3rd Shift Maintenance Technician's. These are Full Time, Permanent, Direct Hire Positions offering Competitive Hourly Compensation, Off Shift Premium, Paid Vacation and Good Benefits.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Must adhere to all safety practices, policies & procedures
  • Machine diagnostics / trouble-shooting & repair
  • Machine installation & set up procedures
  • Perform welding & fabrication as needed
  • Perform preventative maintenance (PM s) procedures related to all manufacturing equipment
  • Machine/equipment rebuilds
  • Perform all facility-related repairs and/or project work as assigned
  • Responsible for completing and turning in all maintenance related documentation including but not limited to daily log sheets for TPM s and all required Control Plans and Downtime logs
  • Coordinate with other resources (Supervisors/Managers) time, material and equipment required to perform necessary work as needed
  • Must be self-driven, with minimal supervision

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 1 to 3 Years of experience with Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Electrical & Welding. Preferring Candidates with excellent trouble-shooting / problem solving skills & experience.
  • Post secondary diploma from a technical college is preferred in Robotic Welding, Electro-Mechanical, or Automation.
  • Ability to troubleshoot both Electrical and Mechanical issues.
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in an Automotive Manufacturing Plant.
  • Must have very strong PLC Skills.
  • Experience working with Motoman & Fanuc Robots and Allen Bradley PLC s.
  • Must be able to work independently and prioritize tasks.
  • Strong problem-solving techniques.
  • Ability to read Blueprints.
  • Ability to interact with all levels of employees in the organization.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
