Material Analyst

Minimum 3 years of Materials Analysis experience 

Venteon is currently seeking an experienced Material Analyst to fill an opening with a Tier 1 Manufacturing Company located near West Point, GA. Must have experience with automotive materials analysis, ideally in a JIT environment 

Requirements of the Material Analyst 

• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain or Logistics or related field, or relevant experience 

• Experience with ERP / MRP systems 

• Strong analytical, forecasting & problem solving skills

Responsibilities of the Material Analyst 

• Inventory Planning & Control: Monitor inventory levels and align material availability with production schedules using ERP/MRP systems.
• Supplier Coordination: Partner with suppliers to track orders, manage material requirements, and proactively resolve delivery issues.
• Data Analysis & Forecasting: Analyze historical demand and production data to forecast future material needs and support planning decisions.
• Cost Optimization: Identify opportunities to reduce material, storage, and transportation costs while maintaining service levels.
• Process Improvement: Drive continuous improvements in procurement, inventory accuracy, and material flow to enhance operational efficiency.
