QUALITY ENGINEER NEEDED - NOVI, MICHIGAN
A Leading Automotive Supplier in the Novi, Michigan area is in needs a Quality Engineer. Prospective Candidates should have previous experience as a Quality Engineer at a Tier 1 Automotive Manufacturing Plant. This is a Full Time, Permanent, Direct Hire Position offering Competitive Compensation, Bonus Potential, Good Benefits, Paid Holidays and Paid Vacation.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Quality Engineer will work with all departments on the development of new products in order to meet customer and IATF 16949 requirements and launch all program activities from the Quality perspective for new business.
A champion and decision maker for quality related issues
Someone to coordinate instructions to production personnel regarding Quality issues
Strong training skills and mentoring qualities
Lead all program launch activities from the Quality perspective
QUALIFICATIONS:
a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related field is preferred or relevant Working Experience
Five years' of Quality Engineering Experience in an Automotive Manufacturing Environment
Experience with Welding and Assembly Processes
Proficient with Computers and CAD Programs
