1st Shift Controls Electrician

Minimum 3 Years experience as a Controls Electrician

Venteon is currently seeking an experienced Controls Electrician to fill an opening with a manufacturing company located in Holland, MI

Requirements of the Controls Electrician

• 3 years of experience in a plant manufacturing environment
      Proficiency in PLC , HMI Programming / troubleshooting (Allen-Bradly)
      Proficiency in robot programming and troubleshooting
      Experience in MES systems (GE proficy preferred)
• CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS Lean Black Belt, Six Sigma Black Belt, or PMP certification preferred. 
      Experience with various problem solving techniques such as Six Sigma, 8D, etc.
      Proven project management, planning, scheduling and prioritizing skills to meet goals.  
      Basic ability to read electrical, mechanical and hydraulic prints.

Responsibilities of the Controls Electrician

•     Program and troubleshoot PLC controls and HMIs for proper function.
      Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
      Modify and develop electrical and electronic drawings (AutoCAD) for equipment and facilities following standard drawing and electrical practices.
      Lead verification of electrical safety in equipment design for equipment launch.
      Keep equipment electrical drawings current and accurate.
      Resolve equipment stoppage and downtown problems and perform root cause failure analysis.
      Oversee and direct outside contractors as required.
      Keep equipment operational by working with maintenance and repair services; following manufacturer's instructions and established
