Plant Controller Our client, a leading provider in innovative material technologies used in various industries, is currently seeking a Plant Controller for their manufacturing facility in El Paso, TX. This role is pivotal in managing the financial operations and supporting the leadership team.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the complete financial operations of the facility.
Supervise the accounting staff including a Senior Accountant and a Junior Accountant.
Responsible for financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
Ensure adherence to financial policies and controls.
Analyze financial data to identify trends and make strategic recommendations.
Handle capital spending proposals, inventory management, and maintain financial systems.
Participate in audits and coordinate with external auditors.
Play a key role in the Management Team, promoting lean tools and production system methods.
Requirements:
Bachelor s Degree in Finance or Accounting.
Minimum of five years experience in a senior accounting or finance role, preferably within a manufacturing setting.
Experience with manufacturing and plant finance, particularly with exposure to automotive manufacturing.
Proficiency in ERP Systems like SAP, and strong skills in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
Strong leadership skills and the ability to work closely with plant personnel.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) capabilities preferred, but not required.
This position is 100% onsite.
Desirable:
Experience working with operations in Mexico or exposure to automotive Tier 1 suppliers.
A hands-on, proactive management style and the willingness to work alongside the accounting team.
