Venteon Finance is currently seeking a SENIOR ACCOUNTING ANALYST for a growing non-automotive client Detroit. The Senior Accounting Analyst advise on financial reports, and review, analyze, and interpret financial and budgetary reports
REQUIREMENTS of the Senior Accounting Analyst role
Bachelor s degree in Accounting
5+ years of relevant Accounting Experience
Strong knowledge of GAAP
Public Company experience
CPA Designation preferred
RESPONSIBILITIES of the Senior Accounting Analyst
Prepares journal entries, account reconciliations, financial statements, variance analyses and other financial reports for multiple subsidiary companies
Coordination with internal and external auditors on the preparation of audited financial statements and internal controls compliance
Coordination and preparation of financial and operational reporting
Research current and emerging accounting issues and implements related accounting policies and procedures
Prepare budgets and forecasts and record accounting transactions
Identify opportunities and implement process improvements Prepare the monthly
Other duties and projects as assigned by management
