Our client, a regional CPA/Advisory firm, is seeking to add an Assurance & Risk Advisory Senior to their growing team. The firm offers a great work environment with an excellent path for career growth, advancement, and the opportunity to make an impact on the firm, client, and community.
This is a hybrid role local to SE Michigan.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Working with multi-disciplinary teams to provide innovative risk solutions to clients in a variety of industries
Collaborating with client personnel and other professionals to design new business processes, internal controls, project plans, working papers, and make improvement recommendations
Performing internal control assessments of management
Interviewing clients, examining evidence documentation, analyzing and performing substantive testing of financial data
Building relationships both internally and externally
Contributing to the success of our clients organizations
Developing staff associates and interns
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
3-5 years of relevant assurance experience in public accounting or industry.
CPA certification or progress towards the CPA exam.
SOX experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple deadlines.
Outstanding client service and communication skills.
Enthusiasm for helping others be successful.
